Having been memorised by last seasons collection, I was eager to see this one. I was not disappointed. The shapes were similar to AW however a little more refined in length and they concentrated on three; the skirt, slouchy trousers and twin sets.
Their house was the inspiration for the eclectic prints, explained Suzanne Clements, from wall papers to plants, and lace curtains. The clashing florals on the fine silks and inserts of lace worked so well, as did the glam "sportswear" of slouch pants, shorts and racer backs - albeit in fabulous silk.
Knits provided the pop of colour and plain breaks to the silk prints, no less exciting and welcome at the same time. Optical graphics filtered through onto the dresses at the end of the show, a solid change for the closing.
Charlotte Olympia delivered the footwear again and I am in love with the block heeled strappy shoes. Bring on the summer, please!
