Fashionable Art

There is much to inspire me in these rooms crammed with beautiful work. From the minute you walk into the space you can see works from iconic artists such as:

Damien Hirst: Part of The Souls Collection (Paul Stolper Gallery, London)

Peter Blake: 24 Flags, limited edition.(FADMEN)

Ben Nicholson: Untitled, Gouache Signed, inscribed and dated 1940/1941 on reverse  (Richard Green, London)

Andy Warhol: Piglet, Lithograph with extensive water colour applied by hand, 1959 (Sims Reed)

David Hockney:Lithograph of water made of thick and thin lines, a green wash, a light blue wash, and a dark blue wash. 1978. (Sims Reed)

Henry Moore, Bridget Riley, and Roy Lichtenstein

It's up close and personal for me as they are hanging as they would on your own wall (if you happened to be that lucky)

There is a definite joy about seeing all these works in one place and so close. Aside from the famous, there are new or lesser-known artists being showcased by their galleries. I have chosen a few of my favourites from the day who really caught my eye and re-ignited my passion for drawing, painting and sculpture. Who knows I may even start up a little side-line.
