Home town fun stuff

So I am bit out sync with the timings I have to say but I lay that firmly at the feet of Snow PR and the PPQ party. Last night saw the PPQ party being held at the Westminster Plaza Hotel, a new after show party venue – hooray. Well-done to Snow PR, what a great evening. The XX were dj-ing, Benefit generously landing us with goodies and fabulous bar. I have to say my alarm was not a welcome noise this morning. Never the less the sun was sparkling across London and crisp blue skies, amazing weather to get you out of bed and blow some fresh air into a wobbly body! Thank goodness my first show was not Daks – early birds for a Saturday - 9am, but I hear it was packed full. I was at Twenty8Twelve, Sienna and Savanna Miller’s label, tea, orange juice and mini muffins greeted us – ace. After the frenzy of Jude Law, Jacquetta Wheeler, Jade Parfit and Matthew Williamson front row, the show began. Following a lead from Ralph Lauren, american western was a theme. Girls in heavily petticoat-ed skirts, fringing and flats.....next season we are going low. Altogether a fun show.

As we left, cup cakes awaited us on tables individually packaged, who says fashion doesn't eat!

Osman was at the BFC space in Somerset House, I was excited to see this as I know a collaboration with the V&A is imminent. As I stood in line patiently with my ticket we filed in, only to be told it was over subscribed. Huge disappointments all round.

Never the less - not to be glum I disappeared of to the Rupert Sanderson factory sale. Deliciously wicked. (More on that later) Lastly I saw the 3-d presentation of the one t shirt by Michael Roberts. Images very Marylin inspired to me it seems.

Now you must excuse me, I need to lie down for a bit. Day three tomorrow!
