Zulu Winter

The snow caused us to postpone our shoot with Zulu Winter at the end of last year and the bitter cold threatened to do the same a second time. However we would not be deterred and the boys braved the chill factor to shoot one Saturday in Harlow.

Craig Fordham was the photographer using my much preferred method, film, rather than digital. We worked quickly and found shots we liked from the polaroids.

The boys had kindly been gifted shoes from Melissa, who also make Vivienne Westwood shoes and lent clothes from Lyle and Scott, Paul Smith, Topman, Paul and Joe, The Kooples, Hudson and Natural Selection. They loved the choice of clothes and rifled through the suitcases to find suitable outfits.

The hangovers which were looming large were beginning to abate with the aid of a Guinness, packet of quavers and a warm shelter for a while, as we all sifted through the shots to work out a plan. We know they are pretty cool and soon you all will be fighting to get tickets to see them - mentioned by the Guardian, Dazed Digital , and Strictly new bands as the one to watch, remember the Happy days in Harlow.
