Favourite finds: Part One

It has certainly got me hyped and inspired for shooting the upcoming season - even if the sun has started to shine and the fabrics are mainly for the depths of winter....oh well. I shall be breaking down into various posts because if I posted every picture of clothes I loved you would be here FOR HOURS.

Home town fun stuff

So I am bit out sync with the timings I have to say but I lay that firmly at the feet of Snow PR and the PPQ party. Last night saw the PPQ party being held at the Westminster Plaza Hotel, a new after show party venue – hooray. Well-done to Snow PR, what a great evening. The XX were dj-ing, Benefit generously landing us with goodies and fabulous bar. I have to say my alarm was not a welcome noise this morning. I know the British are famous for the weather chat but I am taking it one step further and breaking into Seasons.

The set was solid black with a small runway for Irina to move along as James was using movement in the spotlights to blur the images – much like taking pictures of cars at night and the headlights and tail lamps running along afterwards.

Draping

If there was not a very strong presence as a trend in the New York shows it has certainly been cemented by the opening collections in London. I am not talking about the lack of front row, punctuality or any other of those off catwalk fashion week traits but draping. There were draping skirts, tops, dresses, hell even the odd trouser was getting involved.
