Snakes, studs and bikers

There was a triumphant finish to London Fashion Week. Giles returned home, Jonathon Saunders was in print heaven and Clements Ribeiro was hippy - colours and print rather than waistlines of course. Then there was Burberry Prorsum. It was expected to be good if not great. Front row was said to be top heavy weight and tickets were like gold dust. Build up to this show was immense as it was being streamed live, as were many other shows, but this was going to stores around the world. Interviewers were catching the famous faces for their thoughts on Christopher Bailey's vision of this traditional house of the trench coat.

Stopping to reflect

Monday was a day packed full. The Fashion week cars ferrying the Editors around town to show destinations were struggling with traffic and late start times to get to everything. Giles is back in town and expectations were high on what was going to come our way, but before him late in the day there were shows to come from Peter Pilotto, Mark Fast, Erdem, Nicole Farhi and Paul Smith to name a few. Mixed into all of that there was the memorial to Alexander McQueen at St Paul's Cathedral.

Natural sometimes needs a helping hand

I have been trying new things on the beauty front. I have to admit to not having the strictest of routines, summed up by a previous flat mate. "what do you mean you don't moisturise?" Well i was 22 years old and that means you can forego removing your make up, catch up on sleep when you are 30+, not brush your hair (for the original morning after look) and think you look a-ok and good to go. Hmmm, maybe glancing back she was right. Anyway I cant change then but now I can try my very own mission to stop the ageing process now.
