YSL trainer lust

Whilst I have a "healthy" love of shoes, I also have a fair sized crush on trainers. Not quite as much as a past colleague and friend, who I am convinced had a temperature controlled room for his collection. I kid you not. Rules were in place, if it looked like rain, no white trainer was ever to be worn, they would be wiped clean every night and rested. I feel sorry for the bumbling commuter who accidentally trod on a pair of his beloved Nike.

Fendi does Fabulous. And Fur. It was a collection that showed a sensible side, note the boots, but then went extraordinarily flamboyant, note the lynx fur coat in the region of €250,000, and then fell some where near the middle – well more towards the fur side. The brand is always firmly in the luxe camp, and this show proved no exception.

Delicate gets a lesson in tough

Delicate, the Philosophy is a lady who is just that – usually layers and layers of fine fabrics indicating the fragility. This season it would seem the same – but with a heavy boot. This is my favourite type of style. Crossing the boundaries. I am not very good with flimsy and delicate, I cannot get it right, but add in a heavy coat or a boot and I am there.
