Norse Mythology and Conan the Barbarian c 1980 was the theme here at Jena Theo, explained the show notes and the strobe lighting in the venue. As the silhouettes powered down the catwalk, the strong make up Â (a single black band across the eye) and sharp clean lines were softened by the finish in the pieces, waterfall lapels, rouching on the seam of the jeans and Â silk jersey dresses with draped hems.
Soft leather was patch-worked together, in the egg shape and with a hood was one look (below)...
but a preferred look for me was the shirt dress that had panels cut out.
Denim was washed out to leave dirty black and mild greys to contrast the stark whites and blues. Even layered the pieces have geometry within, underlining the precision of the cuts and final look of this very wearable collection.
