Whilst I have been galloping around the center of London on press days, I must draw you attention backwards, well nearly, to AW10. Far from thinking about how to wear the Spring trends, I am battling with trying to keep dry, warm and not looking like a hedgehog from the gales blowing. You’d know if you saw my hair.
There is a solution to the footwear issue. Sensible shoes (gasp) but with a good dollop of thoughtful design. No one wants to think about unwrapping their feet in this weather, so I say give them a haven to get cosy in.

1.Try the fur lined bucked heel from Burberry or similar at Topshop.
2. Alternatively you could go for an upper class hiking shoe with a playful print side from Erdem (just like the illustration from Jaq shows)
3. Or sleek knee length flat boots from Russell and Bromley
In other words, there are solutions other than Hunter wellies.
