Keeping up with the shows whilst you are watching from afar seems to be more difficult for me compared to running between them all here in London. Oh well, forgive me as I go back and forth between.

I am going to squeeze this Pre Fall post in just before the Fashion month kicks off in NY for AW11. I know other fashion weeks are happening, and I am not discounting them but me being a tad traditional and plus I don’t think I can keep up with them all as I have a team of, well, 1, I stick to the fab four. I visited the Louis Vuitton press office in London yesterday to have a peek at the Pre Fall 11, and was not disappointed.

Floating nymph like models gliding almost barefoot down the runway. The beauty of the Ferretti show was following an already emerging theme of tranquil calmness, think Erdem, but add a lot more chiffon and embroidery of these incredible gowns. The prints were there on the material but the fabrics still sheer and light. Knits were added to layer, and few more tailored pieces of trenches and shorts yet still the heaviness was avoided.

Paris always has so many shows to see and there were so many ones I looked forward to this week. Then these are all showing on the same day; Lanvin, Christian Dior, RM and Vivienne. How can my brain process all of the beautiful clothes I am going to see?
All excited as the heavy atmosphere of surroundings in an industrial warehouse was lifted into a sea of tribal infused daywear and followed with a lavishly embellished set of evening wear.
