Pleats and billowing


There are queues and then there are queues. As I turned the corner, I found hoards of people outside the venue for the Vivenne Westwood Red label show. It was heaving. I am not sure there has been anything like it so far this week. As the venue was not at Somerset House it also sparked a curious interest from the passers by. The front row was rumoured to be celebrity heavy, which could have something to to do with the quantity of the paps about.

Virtuous


It was Sunday after all. I went to a brunch hosted by the BFC’s Chairman Harold Tiller. In the showrooms at Somerset House where many designers showcase products, the group of Estethica designers were pushed to the front for closer inspection by us all as we worked our way through the rooms learning about sustainable and fair trade product. Laura Bailey made a speech and then hurriedly returned to her stand of jewellery to answer all the questions.

Screaming feet


It’s a veritable feast for the eyes down at Somerset House. I could sit for hours watching. The sun was out, coffee in hand and my own fashion show (of sorts). Home town fun stuff


So I am bit out sync with the timings I have to say but I lay that firmly at the feet of Snow PR and the PPQ party. Last night saw the PPQ party being held at the Westminster Plaza Hotel, a new after show party venue – hooray. Well-done to Snow PR, what a great evening. The XX were dj-ing, Benefit generously landing us with goodies and fabulous bar. I have to say my alarm was not a welcome noise this morning. Never the less the sun was sparkling across London and crisp blue skies, amazing weather to get you out of bed and blow some fresh air into a wobbly body! Thank goodness my first show was not Daks – early birds for a Saturday – 9am, but I hear it was packed full.
