As invitations go it was not difficult to decide; would I like to join Tu clothing for lunch at the stunning Paramount restaurant, which over looks all of London (360 degrees), for the launch of the new TV advert. I left it quite abruptly, my apologies, London Fashion Week rather took over..back to the East and Ralph Lauren. The designer took a trip to the Orient, 20′s style with the AW collection, the opposite to the western themes of seasons past. Red and black dominated the palette, with hints of white and green to lighten the mood. The fabrics were luscious velvets, slinky silks, and beaded chiffons all tailored into lean suits, flowing gowns and evening dress.

Some things are just impressive, and this is one of them. The amount of people that braved the cold tonight to watch the simultaneous screenings in London’s New Bond Street and NYC Madison Ave store of the 4d online launch from Ralph Lauren, was quite something.
